Slowing her paces,
She wants to keep the time,
Yet, it ticks against her.
As she makes her way,
She stares, looking back again,
And turns in front once again before she made the final gaze.
"Not going back anymore," she said to herself.
It is getting her nerves, breaking her to pieces,
To flash the memories she had.
Good times, bad times,
The moments she smiled in the rain,
The times she wept silently in the sun,
The laughter she shared, the joys she had,
The tears she wept,
Are left behind.
Here's to the new adventure,
Full with uncertainties, unexpected?
All she could do, kneel and pray to the One.
Putting all of her trust,
Laying her burdens down,
Letting go all of the guilty stains,
Cause, forgiveness is what she seeks for.
She prayed and hope all the time.
That one day;
All of the memories created will be replayed again before her eyes.
For time will tell, but God will decide.
